SAIFUL ABD RAHMAN Food Safety & Halal Trainer | Consultant | Food Technologist PROFESSIONAL PROFILE Saiful Abd Rahman is an experienced Food Safety and Halal Trainer and Consultant with over a decade of professional experience in the food manufacturing, food service, training, and consultancy sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (Honours) in Food Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and has built extensive industry experience in food safety, halal compliance, training and development, operational standards, auditing, and management system implementation. Throughout his career, Saiful has been involved in the development and implementation of food safety and halal management systems, preparation of manuals and compliance documentation, internal and supplier audits, gap assessments, training programmes, and advisory services for food businesses and organisations. His experience covers key areas including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), food hygiene and safety, halal management, halal assurance systems, regulatory compliance, and operational improvement. Saiful began his career with FFM Further Processing Sdn Bhd, gaining exposure to the food manufacturing industry before joining Domino’s Pizza Malaysia, where he served in Learning & Development and further developed his expertise in structured training, operational standards, and workforce development within a large-scale F&B environment. Currently, Saiful serves as a Trainer and Consultant at United Academy PLT, where he provides training, consultancy, compliance advisory, system development, gap assessment, and audit support to food businesses and organisations seeking to strengthen their food safety and halal practices. He also has experience working with requirements involving Malaysian regulatory and certification authorities, including the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM/MOH) and JAKIM, particularly in relation to food safety, hygiene, and halal compliance.
